"Mythic Creatures" is an immersive exploration of the enchanting folklore surrounding the Amazon River's pink dolphins, or “botos”, viewed through the unique lens of twins Maria Helena and Maria Eduarda. The twins’ perspective offers a personal connection, revealing insights into the evolving attitudes of the younger generation toward traditional myths and environmental conservation in the rich cultural tapestry of the Amazon. Against the backdrop of the lush Amazon setting, the project, reminiscent of literary works by Garcia Marquez and Jorge Amado, aims to illuminate the playful behavior and unique characteristics of the pink dolphins while emphasizing their profound impact on the communities they inhabit.
